Working Principle

Bossmanfilter BWC - Series Water cooled after cooler provide economical cooling by utilizing cooling water to cool the hot compressed air from an air compressor.Discharge air from an air compressor is generally 180F - 350F, depending on the type of compressor. With a properly sized aftercooler, as much as 63% of the water in compressed air can be removed. In the counter flow exchanger ,fluids flow in opposite directions,usually after entering at apposite side.This arrangement takes maximum advantage of the heat transfer surfaces,requiring the least surface for a given duty and achieving maximum heat recovery and temperature effectiveness.
